Empowering financial confidence: A digital simulator to match investment funds with your risk tolerance and goals
As the UX Designer, I collaborated closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to design a seamless, user-centered experience. My process included user research methods such as benchmarks, persona analysis, and interviews, as well as leading usability testing to refine the journey and deepen user understanding. I facilitated co-creation workshops to align business goals, user needs, and technical constraints, ensuring the tool could scale to reach a larger audience and provide clients with the insights they needed to make informed investment decisions.
The project successfully onboarded 18,580 clients, with 9% converting through the selector and 19% engaging with the tool’s questions.
While the CXI score provided positive feedback on the product’s usability and highlighted clear areas for improvement, it also revealed a gap: users didn’t fully understand the benefits of completing their risk profile. Although the business team achieved their goals, user comprehension wasn’t a primary focus.
